About Me

I have been working as a Law Costs Draftsman since 1999, employed by a reputable Hampshire firm of law costs draftsmen until the Autumn of 2010. I set up my own practice in January 2011.

I was born and grew up in and around Kingston-upon-Thames. After gaining an honours degree in Business Studies at Huddersfield Polytechnic, I worked for a number of years in the marketing and procurement departments of an international pharmaceutical company, based in Basingstoke.

The catalyst for my dramatic change of career was turning 30 and deciding that the large, corporate office environment was no longer for me. It was a chance discussion with the father of a friend, practising as a law costs draftsman from his home in Harrogate, that opened up the world of costs lawyers and legal costs to me.

Away from the office I can be found pottering in my kitchen garden which provides my family, including 2 treasured guinea pigs (!), with fresh fruit and vegetables all year round. At weekends I enjoy nothing better than packing up the car with camping gear, bikes and walking boots, and heading off into the countryside.
